PORTFOLIO

Here is a short selection of some of our previous spy mission immersive multi-media games.

THE FOSSIL FILES

The Fossil Files, was a game that was created during lockdowns for a teacher and his middle school class from Chicago Illinois, USA. Our brief...set up a summer spy camp for students. The school had already managed to secure guests speakers from the NSA, CIA and FBI (these were amazing), and to compliment the professionals talks and lessons, they used our training rescores to help teach spy-craft skills. We created an immersive spy game that allowed the students to put the skills they had learnt to the test and like all out recruits they  "Followed the clues, cracked the codes and successfully completed the mission.

All of our spy missions start with an introduction mission briefing video that sets the scene.

As the students progressed through the game, and identified the first suspect, they are then sent a mission update video.

LOST IN LADDOCK

Lost in Laddock was a game created for a group of Home Educated teens. Our game started inside the building, where recruits were tasked with solving a series of puzzles and clues, to unlock Master Ignatius's briefcase to gain some vital intel on what he had been investigating. The recruits then needed to take their investigative skills outside into the village, using the clues to locate specific landmarks where more clues led them to the code needed to gain access to Master Ignatius's Laptop. Once on the server they discovered the entirety of his case and had successfully "followed the clues, cracked the codes and successfully completed the mission".

RETRO REBELS

Retro Rebels was a game created under our new T.I.M.E. SPIES storyline for older youth, ages 12+. The game and story arch evolved from the excellent game ideas generated by students studying UAL Level 3 Diploma in Game and Animation, at Cornwall College, on our first collaboration with them on Operation Board Game School.

One of the games designed and created was "TIME SPIES"  a family friendly, four player multimedia board game. Perfectly fusing multimedia and online puzzles with more traditional Board Game mechanics, players will jump through time to four key time periods, answer spy themed questions and complete challenging puzzles to collect the components needed to fix the time dilatation system, and activate the time machine bringing our agents home!

Our further development of this initial game idea is to create a new agency within our fantasy game world, T.I.M.E  (Temporal Investigations of Magical Events).

As the name suggests this time travelling spy agency, is responsible for investigating and managing any magical mishaps, that might occur throughout our time-line due to the recent activation of ancient multi-dimensional time portals.

The time portals are hidden in some of the most amazing wonders of our ancient world, and then further concealed behind a veil of celestial magic. Think Stone Henge, The Pyramids of Giza, City of Petra in Jordan – to name just a few.

Time glitches caused by magic, in any of the parallel time lines that exist in our fictional fantasy cosmos, can be catastrophic, so need to be remedied without delay.

The glitch that occurred in our Retro Rebels OPERATION TURNTABLE, game, was due to enemy agents using magic to merge two parallel time lines resulting in new buildings popping up in our location and then disappear only moments later.  To stop things escalating out of control, students needed to go undercover searching their location for various dead drops left by enemy agents, that contained vital intel on what was going on, and how to reverse it.

The treasure-hunt style escape game was delivered at a local Cornish secondary school for a days activities during curriculum enrichment week in June 2023, and students had to navigate various classrooms to find the items they needed.
